Treat yourself to skin-softening, handmade soap!Frankly, nothing is better for your skin than handmade soap. Made from food-quality oils and pure water, goat milk, and natural additives like oats and clay, Olde Crone's Bewitching Bath Soap will pamper your skin, leaving it moisturized, clean, and with the fabulous scent of the soap you choose. These soaps are as natural as a soap can get: no artificial ingredients, fragrances, or additives are used. Once you try Olde Crone's, you won't want to use anything else! Commercially made soaps aren't even soap--they are detergent. It's the same stuff that you probably use to wash your clothes. Sodium Laurel Sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, amonium laurel sulfate--it's all simply detergent. Industries with machines use it as an engine degreaser. Oh, it degreases all right--it dries your skin out! Olde Crone's handmade soap is made by the cold process method, which retains all the naturally-occurring glycerin of the saponification process. The oils used are all vegetable based, so vegetarians can feel comfortable knowing that no animal fats are present. Many of the soaps are also vegan, using no animal products whatsoever. You will feel comforted, knowing that your skin is being treated with an all-natural product which helps to moisturize it and continues to keep it soft through continued use. Use the links above to click around the site and find the soaps or information you need. Your order will ship promptly, using USPS priority mail, and you are encouraged to email the Olde Crone and let her know what you think. If you click here, you will have the opportunity to learn The Olde Crone's secrets; she's written several instructional ebooks! If you think you are ready to make your own soap, The Olde Crone is here to help you. Want regular updates on new soaps, farmer's market appearances, and the like? Join the newsletter email list, by clicking on the "contact" link. What? You haven't even used handmade soap before? Well, my friend, you are in for a treat. Here's what some of the Olde Crone's customers have to say: Oatmeal Honey Soap
Macho Man Face and Body Soap
Lavender Calendula Baby Soap "I have all three of these soaps in use: the Oatmeal Honey is in the shower, and the Gardener's soap is by the kitchen sink, and the Lavender baby soap is by the bathroom sink. Until I used your soap, I had not found a soap that would help my psoriasis. No matter what soap I used, even handmade soaps, I would end up with cracked skin and dry, white, itchy patches. YOUR soap is the ONLY soap that does not leave my hands like that. My hands are soft and much smoother, and I don't even have to use the medicated cream that my doctor prescribed. There is a marked change in my skin. I never want to stop using your soap! I love it!" Lavender Mist Shampoo Bar
Other comments:
All of The Olde Crone's soaps are handmade. A mold that shapes the soaps in a uniform manner is used; soaps weigh between 4-4.5 ounces each. The soaps are meant to be used, hence their rustic appearance. If you want to use them to scent your underwear drawer, you are welcome to do so, but it is preferred that you use the soaps and then tell us how much you love them. If you want to see, feel, and smell the soaps, then come visit at the farmer's markets! In 2013, The Olde Crone will be at the Old South Pearl Street Farmer's Market on Sundays. Click on the "soaps" link to get started treating your skin and hair to an all-natural, healthy experience! Thanks for dropping in and checking out the site. I'd love to hear from you. If you are interested in selling these soaps in your shop, and want to discuss wholesale pricing, please email me. Amy Kalinchuk,
